Ko-Ba is run by Ivan and Mateo – electricians who personally carry out all work, from the initial consultation to the final system check.
We operate in the Krk island area and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, focusing on safe, neatly executed and long-lasting electrical installations.
Why did you start with Ko-Ba?
The idea was simple – to do the job responsibly and without compromise.
We wanted to build a company where every project is done thoroughly, without rushing or “just getting it done”.
We work calmly, precisely, and with a sense of responsibility, knowing that installations remain in someone’s home or business space for years.
We build trust, not just installations.
What types of properties do you work on?
We work on family houses, apartments, rental units, commercial spaces, and auxiliary buildings.
Whether it’s a new build or a renovation, our approach is the same – the installation must be safe, well-organized, and adapted to the actual needs of the space.
We look at every project as a whole, not just as a set of cables and sockets.
How does the process work from the first contact to completion?
First, we come to inspect the property and understand your needs. If there is a project plan, we go through it together. If not, we advise on the layout based on our experience.
After that, we provide a clear and transparent quote.
Once everything is agreed, we carry out the work according to plan and perform a full system check before handover.
Do you provide a quote in advance?
Yes. Before the work begins, you know what will be done, in what order, and within what budget.
If additional work is needed during the process, it is discussed beforehand – nothing is done without your approval.
How long do the works take?
The duration depends on the size of the property and the scope of work.
A smaller apartment can be completed in a few days, while larger projects such as family houses take longer.
We define deadlines in advance and do our best to stick to them.
In the Krk area, where timelines are often tied to the season or move-in dates, we understand how important this is.
Is there a mess after the work is completed?
We work neatly and in an organized manner. Installations are arranged clearly, cables are labeled, and we leave the space as clean as possible considering the type of work.
We consider cleanliness to be part of professionalism, not an extra service.
Are the installations compliant with regulations?
Yes. All electrical installations are carried out in accordance with professional standards and safety regulations.
After completion, we check the entire system to ensure it is safe to use and ready for long-term operation without issues.
Do you give advice before starting the work?
Yes. It often turns out that small adjustments at the beginning – such as adding extra sockets or improving the layout of the distribution board – make a big difference later.
Experience helps avoid future modifications and unnecessary costs.
Do you handle emergency interventions?
Yes. In case of power outages, tripped breakers, or other issues, we aim to respond as quickly as possible, especially in the Krk area.
We understand how inconvenient it is to be without electricity, so we try to be available when it matters most.
When should I contact you to schedule work?
For larger projects, such as new builds or full renovations, it’s best to get in touch early so we can reserve a time slot and plan the work properly.
For smaller interventions and repairs, we try to find an available slot as soon as possible.
